Astrology of Monday, June 18th 2018

The first portion of Monday sees the conscientious but worry-prone Moon in Virgo trine stony Saturn in Capricorn. It’s not a joyful configuration, but it is practical, and good for reviewing duties and organizing what has become disordered.

Mid-day, Neptune makes its annual retrograde station, beginning 4-ish months of backward motion. Here the mighty waters pull back from the shore of the imagination, revealing how things have been changed by immersion within the waves. It is the beginning of a phase of separation and discretion, although some may feel disillusioned with what the retreating waves reveal.

The evening has a more talkative quality, thanks to the Moon’s mutually received sextile with Mercury in Cancer and subsequent aspect with Jupiter in Scorpio. This is a good configuration for talking through feelings and soothing irritations.
