The Moon is in Taurus today, pointing us towards the sensuality of life, from the taste of food to the pleasure and comfort that comes from earthly living. With Venus in Sagittarius, though, it’s important to explore, try new things, and not get stuck in a rut.

Speaking of which, the Moon in Taurus is a reminder that come March, Uranus will be back in Taurus for the next seven years. We had a preview of Uranus in Taurus from May 15, 2018 to November 6, 2018 and during that time we got a clear message about what needs to change in our lives. Taurus is the earth beneath our feet. It’s what we own, how we make our money, and what we rely on to create a stable, secure life. But Uranus will turn all of that on its head because it’s time to have new consciousness about the role of the element earth in our lives.

Uranus shocks us awake. It gives us new sight. It demands new awareness and, with that awareness, that we do things differently. Over the last seven, eight years we’ve had Uranus in the sign of Aries. We’ve reinvented ourselves. We’ve created powerful new beginnings. And if you are an Aries, you know all too well how you’ve completely changed.

I’m going to be discussing this and more in my webinar on the astrology of 2019 on Saturday, January 26 at 4:30 pm EST. (That’s 1:30 pm Los Angeles, 9:30 pm London, 8:30 am Sydney on 1/27.) This year is going to demand that we have a new consciousness and a new relationship with what feeds and creates stability in our lives. It’s a year where we’ll also need more heart and soul in our lives. Even if you can’t join the call, you’ll have the recording to listen to at your convenience. I’ll be going sign by sign to talk about what key themes you can expect for 2019. Cost is $20 USD. Click here to register and learn more.
