Moon moves from Aries to Taurus and we start the week on a slower note. Taurus likes to take its time. It likes to graze, taste. That said, Venus, the ruler of Taurus, is in Sagittarius. We want to explore. Our tastes are exotic and indulgent.
Venus in Sagittarius also picks up on this long square of Jupiter and Neptune we’re having, which is playing a part in the astrology of 2019. Although it’s subtle and playing out more in the background, it means that throughout the year we’re going to be getting to the heart of our existence, asking ourselves deeper, existential questions. Why am I here? What does it all mean? This is an aspect that wants us to find spirituality and to nourish ourselves with the mystical.
It’s hard to feel the subtle realms when we’re caught up in the day-to-day of everyday living. As much as the astrology of 2019 is about the element earth and the need to build our lives, make commitments, and take on responsibility, we also have to nourish our soul. Make sure you’re setting aside time throughout the year — if not on a daily basis — to get back in touch with the subtle, the spiritual, the quiet voice within.
