Constantine Deliyannis (b. 1959), on the faculty of Indiana University, has studied the evolution of solar-type stars through his investigations of the abundance of lithium and beryllium in star clusters. He has also made an observational verification of the roles of mixing and diffusion in the evolution of stars.
