Explorer and adventurer Ambrogio Fogar (b. 1941) has undertaken many challenges. He attempted to reach the North Pole on foot with his dog and in 1974 completed a trip around the world alone in a 12-meter boat made only of wood. For many years he was the star of the TV show Jonathan Dimensione Avventura.
