Bruce A. McIntosh (b. 1929) worked at the National Research Council Canada. The radar meteor survey work he carried out with Peter Millman remains a benchmark. The Czech Academy of Science awarded him a special gold medal for fostering cooperative research on meteors. The name was suggested by C. Keay.
