Alexandr Pavlovich Mimeev (b. 1951) is a Russian radio engineer and amateur astronomer, known as the co-discoverer of a number of sungrazing comets. By finding and measuring additional images of objects in the SkyMorph archive, he contributed to the numbering of many hundreds of minor planets.
