Alkimos was a son of Ares. Together with Automedon, he was in charge of Achilles’ {see, respectively, planets  (2920) and  (588)} horses. After the death of Patroclus {see planet  (617)}, they were the most honored of the companions of Achilles. (M 41386) _ _.
